Gym Class Wonders

Who knew what go on in gym, you got little first graders with their hormones racing kissing in gym class! At about 10:25 Tuesday morning they all ran into the gym class wild, crazy, and full of energy. As the music started playing they were doing warm ups. They gym teacher, Mr. Valandro, then came in and started giving instructions. Instead of listening, they were talking and flirting with one another. Once it was time for the activity of the day, relay racing, they all seemed excited to compete. Starting to get into their lines for the races, they all cheered each other on to run fast and win the race. At the back of one line. Two first graders were caught kissing each other on the mouth once they finished racing. “ Ew, why are you guys kissing?” Asked another first grader in disgust. They were really embarrassed because they thought no one was looking. As the races continued, a little girl named Sasha fell trying to do what the boys were doing. Instantly, she began to cry. A boy named Josh felt guilty so he apologized to Sasha for pushing her. They then hugged it out and continued on with the races. The music then stopped, which meant it was almost time to go. The students went back to their lined to meditate with their teacher for about five minutes. Mr. Valandro then announced that it was  time to go and eagerly they all jumped up thrilled to go learn.
