Lunch Problems

The students of PCS have been complaining about the school lunch for years. They claim that either it is not being cooked all the way or it is being overcooked and, that lunch ladies have not been serving big enough portions. Many students want to get this problem solved, but just don’t know how to get it resolved.
There is couple of ideas floating around. For example, instead of giving the students five mini-corndogs, they should give the students seven mini-corndogs. The reporter asked a student if this is a good idea and he said, “It’s the little things that count.”, as he holds up a lunch tray with just a few chicken nuggets. He usually gets in the lunch line, and gets a trey and puts it at his seat. Then, he goes back into the line and gets another one. He does it on a daily basis.
It is not fair that the students get treated with less respect than the teachers. When students don’t get quality food they tend to act up. One student snatches some of other student’s lunch, because his wasn’t cooked. It is disappointing to see this kind of behavior shown by students. Instead of getting up and asking for a new tray, they would rather steal food. The reporter asked him why he does this. His response was,” I tried raising my hand, but I got no response.”
Students will try to start to make an effort, from now on. PCS will now have good things happening.” I don’t know if it will end”, one student tells me, “But we will try”. Another student added, ”I know it’s not supposed to be Chipotle quality, but it is not supposed to be jail food either.”  Let’s hope no one will be stealing anyone’s food any more at this school.

  1. I agree on what you wrote because most of the lunch I ate there was either too hot or too cold. Trey is suppose to be spelled as tray and they should work on making the quality of the food better

  2. This is very true. School lunch is like jail food. I like the quotes you added.

  3. I agree, the school lunch is small, but it cost like 3 or 4 dollars.

  4. True, but then again you could always bring your own lunch from home.
