Thoughts on New York

Can you get stuck in a video game ? It could be a dream come true or a living nightmare. Unfortunately there are people who take games too seriously it's fun to have a competition, but when you raise the stakes to high for rewards. There is an issue. A high school role playing game called killer is a game where you are assigned to “kill” someone using mock weapons the game is an end of the year ritual high schoolers play  and it's very popular in new york. When you add competition into a game, the stakes rise, when you add a cash reward at the end you can result in real fights, or disputes because desperate people, do desperate things.

Other role playing games can brainwash kids for example: call of duty encourages people to join the army with your friends and forgetting about the huge loss if you get that outcome, GTAs can encourage you to steal cars and sell drugs. Especially in the 90s when GTA came out making crime seem fun, which is not
Also there aren't any violent games that punish you for doing the wrong thing. The game makes sentences not seem that bad and also influences cursing. There are a lot of parents who don't agree with their kids playing violent video games but kids find a way to obtain them.  Violent games can also lead to misinterpretation. Some people say these games can allow you to be alert and vigilant  but, is that worth the issues it causes ?
In 2009  a high  school in new york banned the RPG stating: “Some of them really do take it too far” (high-schools-take-aim-at-assassin-game NBC) (2009Pg1).

In the end, the controversy between addicting violent games and crime - whether or not they connect, may have there own satisfaction of blowing of steam but, what really matters is cherishing your life. Don't treat it like you have more because you dont heavy gamers should also know virtual reality and reality - those two worlds will never intwine. in 2009 the common high school video game called "killer' stirs up small but, many disputes because desperate people do desperate things. Especially when they try to bring virtual reality to reality.
