On September 23, 2014 Ms.Crains 8th grade language arts class
went to the gym to see what the first graders do in that class. When we first got there the 1st graders weren’t there yet. When they came the teachers turned on music and they started exercising. The did jumping jacks running in place an more. After they got done exercising they were going to do relay races.
To start off the relay races the teachers turned on very loud pop music. The students got into lines and started running up and down the gym like little cheetahs. They were dancing and playing in line and they were having a lot of fun. After a while the teachers told them to stop running and turned off the music. Then the teachers showed them how to skip. Now instead of running in their relay races the skipped. They skipped up and down like horses. Before they started the relay aces again the teachers turned back on the music.
After a while it was time for Ms. Crains class and for the 1st graders to leave. The first graders had a lot of fun and so did Ms. Crains class watching them. The kids were well behaved and happy the whole time. I think its really nice for kids at such a young age to enjoy exercising. now from now on I hope that they have this much exercising when they are older.
