Animals are a very important part of our environment, yet number of animals are starting to decrease because of evil people murdering certain animals. These murders are happening for stupid, uncalled for, reasons. People go to jail for murdering people but they don’t go to jail for murdering animals. Why is that? That is because people just don’t care. This is a really huge issue to many people. It irritates some people when other people don’t care.
Reporter Hannah chatted with Jillian Yim about her feelings about animal abuse. Jillian stated that, “ If you aren’t prepared to have an animal, then don’t have an animal.” She started to get annoyed talking about it, but instead of letting it get her annoyed she spoke the truth that is really hard to disagree with. She clearly stated that, “ It’s not fair cause their living to and nothing that is living should be abused.”
Another reason that people get upset is because some people have a very strong love for their animals and they end up losing them from things like cancer, old age, and such. While some people are out looking for dogs to see fight in an arena. Just think of the pain and torture those animals are put through. Those animals are put into a cage and are literally fighting for their lives.
Reporter Hannah also chatted with Yuliana Perez, Yuliana exclaims that, “I don’t want to see animals getting hurt for no reason.” While her and Hannah were talking she said, “I think people should be put in jail if animals are being abused because to me it’s just like doing it to children.”
Jillian and Yuliana exclaimed what many people are thinking but some people could be more emotional about this topic. Sad to say that there are people that could care less about this topic and what’s even sadder is that not all of them are the people doing it.
