Luther Family Dinner Struggles

The night of September 23,2014, around maybe 7 o’clock pm, the Luther family had to make a big decision. What was for dinner? The three children (Betty,William Jr , and Marcus) all gave in different suggestions. Betty, the oldest child , suggested subway. William Jr. suggested tacos, and  the youngest, Marcus, suggested simply cake. Both parents disagreed to subway,tacos, and simply cake ! This was the beginning of the dinner struggle.

A hour and some minutes passed and the family still hasn’t decide on what the dinner plan was. Betty walks up to the mother, in slight hunger, and asks what is for dinner. The mother gave a answer of chinese food. This put Betty in shock. She did not like chinese food that much. With a loud groan, Betty stomps off to her two brothers and tells the shocking decision. Just like their older sister, the two brothers did not like chinese food that much.

It was finally 8 o’clock and the mother returned w/ a big brown bag that contained the chinese food. The mother right away opens the bag and takes out white and fried rice, mixed vegetables, sesame seed chicken, and lastly soup. The two parents grab their food immediately. The three kids walk sluggishly towards the kitchen not at all excited to eat. Although, you could see the hungry look on their face.  The kids all got their food. Surprisingly, came to see they had a smile on their face. Betty and the two brothers were actually eating the food with delight.

Betty and the two brothers explained to the parents, “Anything is good when you're hungry.”
