   PCS Monthly G-Day
On Thursday, September 25, 2014 in the courtyard Premiere Charter School. The students had their annual G-Day morning peace rally. First, Ms. Frugo, the head of the school introduced herself and said good morning to all the PCS students.
Next, two PCS teachers came up and played a song for the students.
The crowd went wild.
Then a PCS student came up and played a song, at first I didn't think he would be any good but once he started, it blew my mind, literally said “Oh My God!”
Next, the PCS Eagle Choir and sang the song “Happy” by Will Ferrell.
Then, the schools new receptionist walked up to the stage and was given an $800 check. “WOW!”
Then, the students were released by grade, and each grade released them class by class.
After having a discussion in their homebases, all of the students split up and went to their G-Day families for an activity.
After the activities with families the students gathered in the gym for an assembly, where they reviewed their overall goals for the year.
Then they were split up into groups for their G-Day/challenge day activity.

Finally, all the students were released by homebase, sent to their lockers to get their stuff and went home, to relax after an exciting day.

  2. This is good, you put lots of details of what happened, and I could feel the surprise you had when the kid started singing. But remember, this is a newscast, you can't have a first person perspective.
