Seperation

       Disappointment and, ironically, happiness was brought to a family this past week. This particular family is having some issue regarding respect and love for each other. It began with the stepfather verbally abusing his wife. Then he said that the children of his wife didn’t respect or care for him. Which was true for one of the children, Beyden Mendieta Olive. Beyden says that “I only cooperated with him because he made my mother happy and had an income, other than that, I didn’t care for him”. then a few days later, the stepfather said he was going to leave and live somewhere else. And that he did.

         This is just one example of a major problem in the U.S today. All over the country there are mothers and fathers leaving their families. The main cause of this is the parents no longer care for one another. this can lead to divorce. Ultimately causing problems for the parent that gets custody of the children. Such as a smaller income. This also leads to the children thinking it was all their fault. Overall, separation can have troubling effects in the end.
