Position on Video Games

Many teenagers enjoy the action of playing video games. Half of these video games are actually violent. Some may argue that video games aren’t good for teenagers and it teaches them negative things. Yet, I think video games can be a good distraction to the teenagers, and adults, that are playing. Playing any sort of video games can keep a person from committing crimes and distracted from stressful baggage.
Violent video games may stop crime by keeping criminals busy.  Hard core video games, such as Grand Theft Auto V, has helped keep the crime rate down in the world. Since such games as it came out, the crime rate as decreased as the video game upped the violence. They’re keeping potential criminals busy from committing any. Since such brutal games increased the aggressiveness by one percent, crime rates has gone down by 0.03 percent. Non intense games seem to have no effect with crime.
Online gamers are solving science’s biggest problems. Playing games, such as candy crush, could be helping to solve the biggest problems in the world. While aligning patterns and scoring points, players could be also hunting for mutations that cause cancer, Alzheimer’s disease, or diabetes. Playing Jewel Mania,  Cruel Jewels, or Puzzle Quest 2 can help make a huge change in people’s life.
These powerful game could be helpful in so many ways.  For example, kids with ADHD can’t focus in school for 9 straight hours, attention getting video games help them focus in a way that school can’t. I used to think that such brutal games with a lot of violence could cause a person to act out and be destructive. Now, I also think these games can help a person not do crimes by seeing how much torture and discomfort the animated person be in when they’re killed.  Also, when these people kill someone they get chased by police on such games like Grand Theft Auto, which is something they wouldn’t want to do in reality because it could get them in a lot of trouble. Games such as Animal Crossing could help a adolescente to get a higher reading level by writing notes to other players and reading theirs.
Although, many people think video games aren’t good for teens, they can be. There is evidence that proves both sides of the opinions. You could develop friendships through games and also a little of education can be included. There are lots of good benefits of video games. Many people like to play video games, so it can be a bonding experience for some.
