Violent Games are Bad!

Some people think it’s bad to play violent video games. A lot of teenage kids love to play intense video games. I personally think that it’s ok to play violent video games, but there are also bad things about playing them. The bad things about playing violent video games is that they could cause kids to be more aggressive, paranoid, and an introvert.

    Video games with violence can be great fun to many kids. A lot of kids love to play them and think they are the best types of games. Although there are many good things about violent video games, it can cause kids to be more aggressive. In these games the fighters and killers are really tough. When kids see things like this in games they want to be more aggressive than they would usually be.

    Some aggressive games are kinda scary to. They either have a lot of gore or scary looking things. Video games like this can make kids paranoid. If in the game they have pop up scares (when something pops up out of nowhere and scares you) kids can be extra jumpy. One day my little brother was watching somebody play Five Nights at Freddy’s and they have a lot of pop-up scares. That night my little brother didn’t go to sleep because he was paranoid that one of the characters was trying to get him. After playing games like that kids can be very jumpy and scared at any sudden noise.

    Playing too many of these brutal  games can also can also cause kids to be scary and may make them introverts. A lot of violent games are scary and it could make a kid very shy and timid. When kids play games they sometimes get addicted and don’t really like to be around people anymore. They usually start off going straight to their room after school and start to play their video games instead of spending time with their family. They don’t even notice that they are being less active or talkative until someone says something.

    People think it’s bad to play violent video games because it can have a lot of negative effects on someone’s actions and feelings. Many people get mad easier or are more extreme towards everyone else because in many games the characters are violent. Many kids get paranoid because of the scary scenes in games. It also makes kids introverts because they spend so much time playing video games, that they no longer want to do anything else. Some people think that playing violent games are alright, but they are not wrong because they do have benefits. There are still plenty of other ways that violent games are bad.
