Discrimination Towards Games.
Have you ever felt annoyed with the normal routine of junk food and cartoon programs? Maybe you should get involved in violent games. Some schools are inventing the ability for their students to interact out of school in a fun way. Imagine using a water gun to “kill” your peers. This situation could provide you with lifelong memories of the school and make it more fun to return back. Also creating more possibilities for life at home. Violent games should be allowed because of their many benefits.
The world of technology is majorly increasing day by day with new video games just around the corner. Parents are becoming worried about the games their children play. Violent video games are becoming even more realistic, which makes people expect more violence in the real world. This category of games can provide life long skills. “...students there have developed a seventeen-point rule book…” (Martin, 2009. p.1) Children at St.Ann’s high school are developing social skills while experiencing the idea of a violent game. “ Eighteen squads of assassins signed up...a total of seventy players…” (Martin, 2009. p1) These students are learning to work towards a goal like grown ups do in real life to gather a profit. Children aren’t being harmed by the ability to play violent games, if anything they are gaining knowledge.
There are many ways to entertain yourself and others. Did you ever think that violent video games could be distracting the people with the worst thoughts on their mind? What if you took these video games away? You wouldn’t only have a flustered audience but you would also cause chaos. “... those who are most likely to commit violent acts - are kept busy in front of their tvs and computers. “ (Dashevsky, 2013.) If they have a digital haven then they may keep the outside world out of harms way. Video games aren’t only for fun, they can also be for stress relief.
You can’t blame everything you can’t control on pixelated violence. Video games provide everyone with somewhere to escape to, somewhere to go in a tough time, consider it a shoulder to cry on. While others think the opposite. “The young men who opened fire… had this in common: they were video gamers who seemed to be acting on some dark digital fantasy.” (Carey, 2013.) This may be persuasive but many factors are needed to cause such a destructive crime. Video games can’t hurt anyone.
Adolescents should have the ability to participate in violent games. They aren’t the lone inspiration for cruel actions. Oneself can control their own actions with or without the influence of these games. All of the worlds’ problems can’t be solved.  Violent games are good for children and teenagers to learn lessons and develop in daily life. To conclude, violent games can provide you with lessons such as communication, teamwork, and leadership skills. Take a chance, play some games, see for yourself.
