Violent Games Should be Played by Kids.

Frannie Goude
Violent games should be able to be played by young children in america or even around the world. These games have been being made more and more popular since awhile ago and then there is the crime reports which have decreased since the time of these video games started coming out for sale. KIds already plays these games and are usually not affected by them at all they just want to play them for fun not to learn about how to commit violent crimes.
“Violent crime, particularly among young, has decreased dramatically since the early 1900’s. During this time, video games have steadily increased…”. (Essential Facts about Games and Violence. Page 1”) This mean that that violent games has no effect on the crimes that are actually going on in america. Also video games with violence in them do not affect children who play them because if the crime number went down and the amount of video games played went up, are not being affected by each other at all.
“Numerous authorities, including the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Surgeon General, Federal Trade Commission and Federal Communications Commission have examined the scientific record and found that it does not establish any causal link between violent programming and violent behavior. The truth is, there is no scientific research that validates a link between computer and videogames and violence”.(Essential Facts about Games And Violence. Page 1) This [Suggests] that they are not related to each other  at all, they have no relation, so the amount of violent video games played does not at all affect the amount of crime done. It does not affect children's actions if they are violent actions or good actions do not come from playing video games.
And the findings have been annoyingly inconclusive. Indeed, the crime rate in the US has sharply decreased as video games have continually upped the viscera factor.” This shows that violent games can actually help the u.s because the more video games we play the safer we will be says the people who wrote this article.
Also children don’t learn to be violent from games because they rarely actually learn any violent actions from the games they learn if from their peers. Kids natural reaction to these games are that they are fun and not meant to actually learn violent ways from they they just want to play not to make violent actions.
Some people may say that these games are  dangerous, but they forget that in a text it says that as the amount of violent video games increased the amount of violent reports decreased. This will show that kids only want to play games to have fun and not be influenced by them to do violent things.
In conclusion these games are in no way, shape or form dangerous for kids to play with their friends. Kids are more influenced by actual violent events in video games than they are being influenced by violent games they play. I know how others would feel if they say that these games are violent but then they have to try to consider fact that these games will help with self defence skills and different things of that sort.
