Violent Games...Violent or Not

Have you ever thought if role-playing games with simulated violence were not bad or perilous? Many articles have been published about this topic, arguing about whether or not these games are perilous or nonperlious. Some article say some violent games influence bad on to some kids, While others say violent games help kids learn survival skills. However I should tell you the truth, these violent games are actually a bad influence on kids. Therefor role-playing games with simulated violence are perilous for kids.
“High-jinks:Shootout” is an article by Guy Martin. This guy talks about how these high school kids are playing a killing game to “kill” everyone who is playing. The game was called High School Assassination Game. This is one of those games that is perilous to kids, this kind of game can influence kids to do bad things, such as to use real guns in a bad way. In paragraph 2 the leader of this game says,“ I've arranged at least one boyfriend-girlfriend kill that could be interesting!” This is a bad influence on kids because the leader of this group is wanting to create a mission to “kill” a boyfriend and a girlfriend. This is a very bad way to  influence kids like this because they may want to do this when they are older, they might think that this is a great thing to do, or that it may be fun. This game can put a very bad influence on these teenagers. Also in paragraph 4 Martin talks about that there have been 18 squads have signed up to attend this violent game. This is also a very bad influence on teenagers, because its showing them that signing up to “kill” is a good thing to do. I this article the author also says some things that make this game sound extremely violent. In this whole article the objective is to “kill.” This is too violent for teenegaers this age because like I said above it puts a very  bad influence on these kids and is extremely violent at this age.
In the article “Do games like GTA cause real world violence?” by Erik Kain in Forbes Magazine, this guy talks about there are more gun-related murders in the US and also more violent game spending in US. For every 30,000 dollars spent on games there have been a range about 10,000 murders a year. I believe that this is not okay for the United States, Video games have been putting a bad influence on these kids, and showing that murdering people is “fun” or okay to do when actually its not. Some kids may believe that this is okay to do because they cannot draw lines between fiction and reality. All of this information is so far proving that role-playing games with simulated violence perilous to kids.
In the article “Essential facts about games and violence” by the Entertainment Software Association, they say that,“Many games with violent content sold in US- and some with far more violence- are also being sold in foreign markets. Have you ever wondered about what will happen if we keep selling so many violent games? Just like I said many times before, this can make kids believe that this is okay to do, because they can't tell the difference between fiction and reality. Have you ever noticed when a kid is playing a violent video game they shout, “DIE!” or “GOT EM!” this is physically showing that these kids purpose is to kill or defeat. Well have you ever wondered what would happen in this world if every kids though it was okay to do this? Our world would be doomed, and full of violence. So we need this violent game thing to not go so far.
Many people believe that these dangerous games are great for these kids! They say that it could help them gain strategies in life to protect them. Well people have said that life now-a-days has gotten more dangerous, and that these kids need to learn how to protect themselves. How ever a young kid doesn't need to be shooting people, robbing places, or knowing how to kill someone or something! These kids just need to learn self-defense, and violent video games do not do this for you. (video games just teach you to kill!). These kids just need to learn how to protect themselves from danger the safe way, NOT VIOLENCE! In the end these games with simulated violence is perilous for kids because it puts a bad influence on them. So maybe next time you see someone talking about that it would be cool to do what video game characters do you can say violence is not cool!
