The Problems With Girl Drama/Gossip

If you’re at school you may notice that there is a lot of girl drama going on. Then you might see them just laughing. You might see one girl talking to another, pointing and laughing at another girl. You would infer that they are talking about someone behind their back.
An issue with some girls is that they can’t keep the mean things to say to themselves. They spread mean and untrue things about each other. For example, one girl spreads around that this one girl likes this one boy when it’s not true. All it does is start a fight or causes that person to commit suicide. Another thing about girl gossip is that some girls don’t realize the harm they are doing to other girls until something bad happens. Some girls are just too sensitive which would make them not wanting to go to school or make them want to post a video about them wanting to kill themselves. Girl drama is also a problem. Drama can also lead to this. If a girl does like someone, and another girl know about it they shouldn’t go around telling everyone because it’s was none of their business in the first place.
About 5 summers ago Maya, Marissa, Brooke, Iman, Josauni, Incozy, Ommawaly, and Niyeen were outside. Maya asked Marissa if she could ride her bike, but Marissa said no, so she got mad and walked up the street with Josauni. “Hi Maya!”, Destiny yelled from across the street. Maya didn’t respond, so Destiny called both Maya and Josauni fake. Then they both started arguing. Marissa rode her bike up the street, minding her business, when Destiny started saying stuff about her. “Get off my property,” Destiny yelled. Marissa was really on the sidewalk, which is city’s property. Then Maya started yelling at Destiny, defending Marissa even though she was still mad at her. A few days later, Maya and Marissa’s mom went out of town, so it was just their dad with them at home. Maya and Marissa went outside with Brooke and Josauni. Josauni’s 2 brothers, Incozy and Ommawaly outside with them, so did Niyeen. Then they all wanted to play Hide-n-Seek. Destiny’s little cousin, Jayla wanted to play to. The boys were the seekers and the girls were the hiders. “Don’t play with them, they fake,” Jada said to Jayla. All the girls hid in the same spot, at the top of emergency exit steps of an abandon apartment building. Destiny knew where they were hiding, so she told Incozy, Ommawaly, and Niyeen. When it started getting dark they all walked down the street. A few minutes later Destiny and her crew walked down the street harassing Josauni about Incozy “stealing” her little cousin’s water gun. Then they all tried to jump Josauni. “Can you please get off my property? I don’t want to have to put my hands on nobody,” Marissa asked nicely and calmly. Destiny just started yelling. Then Josauni just got up and went home and Destiny followed. Josauni tried to keep Jada out of the gate, but she managed to get in. “Get off my grass,” said Josauni’s dad. Jada had walked onto the grass acting all innocent. It was about 8pm- 8:30pm when Maya and Marissa went inside. The 2 groups never got along with each other ever again.
This goes to show that drama and gossip that has been spread can’t stop or taken back. It’s like a virus of lies or hurtful things. Girls need to work together to stop the spread of this virus. If someones secret is spread that person could end up getting hurt, not just emotionally, but also physically. When girl drama/gossip leads to physical fighting, and no one stops it, it could lead to pulled out hair, broken bones, bleeding, bruises, or even death. Fights could start at school, in stores, in malls, on the streets, or even online. Facebook is the most common website that girls start drama or spread gossip. To conclude some girls just like to start stuff just because they have nothing else to do in life. This all needs to stop before things get worse with girl drama/gossip.
