Parents

   Parents don’t understand?
Kids love their parents and their parents love them. But sometimes they don’t understand. Sometimes they do nice things but when they start  they acting different their kids seem to think they don’t understand. Don’t get me wrong some parents do understand but some don’t. Latifah an 8th grade student at Premier Charter School has a lot of shoes and all the newest ones. One day she asked her mother for the new shoes she wanted then her mom said “ Why do you deserve them?”. Latifah replied “I am doing good in school.”. Sometimes parents trying to understand there kids is like cats trying to understand dogs.

Most of the time when parents don’t understand their kids it’s usually when they want to hang out with friends or school problems. When kids want to go hang out with their friends the parents almost always act like the to let they don’t want to let them go. I know they want us to be safe but most kids only go to the movies, mall, or to their friends house and at all of those places  have lots of people so its a 95% chance that they will come home fine. then at school when students get bad grades they could be trying really hard to get good grades. The class might just get really hard for them. Then almost everyday the students get homework from every class and then they have so much to do when they get home. Then the parents get upset about them going to sleep and not helping out around the house. Latifah got home one afternoon and went to take a nap because she was done with homework. Then her mom got angry and said it was because she was on her phone but she was just tired from school. So basically sometimes parents don’t understand their kids. A solution to that problem could be to try to talk about it with your parents or just try to calm down.
