“Are Violent Games Causing Real World Violence?”
As some people know that I’m a gamer and I enjoy playing games. On weekends I would play games as long as I wanted to because I feel like I had nothing else to do than play games. I would go to a friend’s house and play game with them. For my gaming experience I would tend to be competitive at playing games. I play games like Vainglory, Modern Combat 5, Order and Chaos Online, and DomiNation. These game I play are violent and can be addicting sometimes, but some of these games are role playing games and these games can be a reason for some kids playing these violent games.
But the game people think are realistic to the real world violence is Call of Duty (C.O.D) and this game is a first person shooting game (fps) and people claim this game leads to real world violence. Call of Duty has been a fascinating game that sold millions of copy of this game. This franchise has been going on for 12 years and it has been the popular game to play. Yet people think this game can cause people to do these things in the real world and can be the reason why there is what they think there can be chaos caused by this being the first game being launched in October 29, 2003 this was the first Call of Duty game which spiral into the future like Advance Warfare where they add in the game are exo suits which were not in all the other Call of Duty games before it, but we’re not going to be talking about exo suits being the problem. Call of Duty can be the reason for some world violence, kids under the age of 18 play this game as well and this shows that even little kids can get addicted to these games. The shooting in this game had made them become obsessed playing these violent games. Sometimes when people dream they might think of killing.
Another that can be a cause is Grand Theft Auto (G.T.A). Grand Theft Auto is another of those great game created by Rockstar who have made this game and became successful in selling millions of copy like Call of Duty. One of the biggest game in the Grand Theft Auto series is the great Grand Theft Auto 5 and after their release of Heist (which is a DLC) had many fans hype for the release. In the gaming community many people have been cursing each other out and this happens with online. Many people have been addicted to these games especially teens which they would play these games most of the time had increased the amount of time playing and the amount of bad words they hear from the game and using it in public. This can mess up their real world problem because teens might lose what they learn from school and they can role play these type of things they see from violent video games and try to make it into a reality. Games like Grand Theft Auto or Call of Duty can affect the real life for others like it could affect their sleeping schedules and it will affect what they learn in school.
Letting kids play these game all day can be bad for their health, such as their eye health and can lead to weight gaining. If kids just play games the rest of their lives they would turn obese and feel like they don’t exist in the real life. So let your kids go to an amusement park or go swimming and play certain activities where it doesn’t involve actual violence. If you can’t be able to do those stuff then to go then play catch outside or play board games to keep their minds off of violent games. In game’s violences these can make your kids turn into a criminal like in Grand Theft Auto 5 where you can rob a bank and this event might as well think about doing this when he or she grows up. Playing these violent games all the time can be bad for kids’ grades and mess up their career choices in the real life than just robbing the bank every time.
Lately on http://www.forbes.com/sites/erikkain/2013/09/18/do-games-like-grand-theft-auto-v-cause-real-world-violence/ there has been some murder going on around the continent especially the United States because it has more gun related issues. In America, on average, 30 people were murdered with a gun, 162 more injured, and 53 commited suicide. In 2010 in the U.S, firearms were used to carry out 11,422 homicides and 19,392 suicide.
These games play by these kids are bad for their minds physically and mentally and they could seek kills on friends, other for blood thirst vengeance and these game can show remorse brutality in the real world. One of these days the earth can rot from the venom of these violent games, the toxicity that feels like kids are mind controlled, the cold deadly murder by theses games can teach them the art of war against one another. These games are meant to break relationships and backstab one another for glory. When kids tend to play these violent games they would mostly argue at each even when it’s your best friend you are arguing to. This is the reason for kids learning a blood bath glory just to get to the top for just glory itself and fortune in the minds of the feeling of snake venom made them blood hungry who have the greed for violent games are making a mistake for themselves. Just wasting your time playing violent games can sometimes give nightmares to a kid and make them feel like a bad influence to another’s life. You shouldn’t let them be inside all day because all of the kids do indeed have a life and that life don’t mean staying inside, it means go outside and have a time of your life and get dirty sometimes like playing outside games that means no harm to someone.
Violent games can teach them glory and fortune and they use their cunning ideas to outsmart one another to just reach to the top as the one. These games act like predator vs prey and you can be the prey the one who is the hunted. Games like Call of Duty and Grand Theft Auto are the reason kids act like they are as savages. These games are the one that get kids addicted to shooting games and can assume they are in that dimension. How can such games ruin a kid’s chance at what he or she wanted to be, but violent games are in their way and it’s preventing them to escape the nightmare that they hear in their heads, but there could be a chance to escape that world of your all you have to do is put that thought of violent games out for now and enjoy that you do have a life out there for you.
