Games and Violence essay
Have you ever thought of how violent games can affect a child? Some people feel that these games are bad for kids because they could make the child have violent reactions in real life to these games. Although there have been no tests that prove that these games can make kids act violently (Kain 2013). I think that these games are prime for kids to play, it can teach them many things.
If all a child is doing is having fun then do you think you should interrupt their fun. Most children play these fun games such as water gun fights and also games along the lines of cops and robbers. But, the amount of children that play these games doesn’t mean that a lot of kids grow up to be violent. People are society raised if you are raised with violence around you then you will most likely be in the violence, yet if you are raised with a good family and good people around you then you have a less likely chance of getting into violence.
Most of the adults that are against playing these games have played these games before in their childhood, it was a big part of many adults childhood. These adults grew up fine but at the same time they don’t want their children playing games like these. If these adults grew up fine then why are they so worried about their kids playing these games.
However, some people say that these games are bad for kids to play. There have been some cases where kids grow up to be violent after playing games as a kid. But, it fails to support that there have been no studies to prove this. Also there are kids that didn’t play these games and grow up to be violent, proving again that kids are society raised. For example
Me personally i think these games are fun and finsae to play. If you still have a problem with kids playing these games after reading this article, just think that many adults even possibly you have played these games as a kid and they have turned out successful, some even very successful. I think that it all depends on where and how children have grown up. Most parents don’t like these games because of today’s society because they believe that these games are the cause of some of the school shootings and other violence that the teens of this generation are doing, but look where they are coming from.
